Charleswood Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) is one of the longest continuous-running youth programs in Winnipeg. Incorporated in February of 1969 this volunteer-run Association has provided programming to youth in the Charleswood area for over 50 years.
CYSA has stood the test of time weathering changes from new leagues, new governing bodies, and the continual evolution of the game. CYSA has been a leader in embracing progress most recently becoming one of the first organizations to embrace the Quality Soccer Provider designation. CYSA participated in the initial pilot program study in 2018 and became one of the first organizations to qualify as a Quality Soccer Provider through the Canadian Soccer Association in March of 2022.
